Headed to an island wedding, we decided to have two nights in inner Brisbane to make it feel like we were having a short holiday. We chose Inchcolm Brisbane as our home away from home and from the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the blend of classic elegance and modern luxury. The hotel has this incredible charm, like it’s a hidden gem that combines history with chic design. The staff are warm and genuine, and the checkin was super smooth, setting the tone for a relaxing stay. Everything about this boutique hotel is ideal; the room, the staff and location. We booked an excellent deal online which made our stay even better.

The room itself was stunning. One of 50 in this heritage former medical suites, the design is sleek yet cozy, and the very comfy bed made it hard to leave each morning. We were lucky enough to have a room with gorgeous views of the Brisbane skyline, which made sipping our morning coffee much more enjoyable.

The bathroom had all the high-end touches we love, with a beautiful marble design and luxurious amenities that made us feel like we were staying in a spa. They clearly made great work with the building's heritage while creating contemporary, lively and playful public spaces and rooms. They've worked wonders, from the dark and backlit foyer and great bar design, including a cabinet of curiosity with lots in it to keep even the most curious mind entertained. The style oozes from every corner.
The location was also perfect, right in the heart of Brisbane, and just a short walk away from everything we wanted to explore, like the Brisbane river, the city centre, Howard Smith Wharves and all the great shopping spots.

Overall, a comfortable affordable property with inspired design on the city's northern edge, close to the river and the bars and restaurants that demand exploration.
The Fullerton is at 73 Wickham Terrace, Spring Hill, Qld
